The Countdown

Blink! Two months passed just like that and now its just a week before we pack our bags and head to Kolkata.
These past few weekends we have been going around different parts of Chennai, trying to relieve the various moments we had spent there. We also took some unseen paths and got to know the city little more. Getting lost in trying to reach somewhere and then following your instincts to come out of the maze is one of the best ways to get to know the place. And we just love it!
Today went to Ambattur to see a friend and her two sweet darlings. This was our first trip to Ambattur and again the search and discovery was incredible.
We spent one final Diwali in Chennai last week, the usual crackers from day break, the blinking lights on tall buildings, the stores filled with sweets was how it has been all these years. But for the first time we went to T. Nagar on Diwali night and lo! there the road in front was FREE of jams and traffic...this was probably the most astonishing site we saw in a long time, for those who are not familiar with the infamous T. Nagar - that's a popular market which is rarely seen without a flood of shoppers.
Here are a few snapshots from the last few weeks of the city we have grown so fond of.
